ADT Security's Residential IP Connect, is an advanced, high security platform that links your alarm system to the ADT Security Response Centre through a wireless network.
Higher level of security
The link and all alarm signals between your home and ADT's Security Response Centre is encrypted by the Residential ADT IP Connect. Therefore, ADT Security can provide you with even greater protection from when compared to data sent via a phone line.
Cost savings
ADT Residential IP Connect removes the need for a phone line and in turn saves you the cost of paying for monthly phone line rental as well the cost of a phone call every time the alarm is triggered.
Greater reliability
Alarms monitored over a phone line are verified once a week to ensure that the alarm is still communicating with the ADT Security Response Centre. With Residential ADT IP Connect, your alarm is polled every 30 minutes to check for a signal. This means ADT will know quickly if your alarm connection has been cut or otherwise compromised and can respond accordingly.
Dependable wireless connection
The wireless connection is a private network monitored by ADT Security and is independent to your home internet connection. This means that if your home internet connection doesn't work it would not affect the alarm system communicating to the ADT Security Response Centre. Residential ADT IP Connect also helps ensure optimum wireless network coverage though the use of the national Telstra network.
