The great news is you will now receive additional benefits with an immediate FREE upgrade to SMS and email notifications for your low priority and subsistence events. This will not require any changes or upgrades to your existing alarm system.

Below you will find our notification processes for your information.

ADT Alarm Dispatch Procedures (ADT will take the following actions):

High Priority

Hold Up

Advise Police (Appropriate due activation device must be installed – Commercial premises only).

High Priority

Duress / Panic

Notify site: if no response; notify contacts; if no answer; advise police. Note: Police may vary their response depending on the premises and type of Duress. Additional charges may be incurred from Police service for their response. State Police Policy may mean that Police do not respond to unverified events and are not called.

High Priority

Fire / Smoke / Medical

Notify site; if no response; notify contacts; if no response; advise Emergency Services. Note: Additional charges may be incurred from Ambulance/Fire services for their response. ADT may pass these charges onto the customer.

Asset Threatening

Intruder Alarm

Notify contacts; if no response dispatch patrol (unless not authorized by customer). Note: Additional charges may be incurred for Patrol response.

Subsistence Alarms

Low Battery / System Trouble / Tampers

Notify the nominated mobile(s)

Low Priority

Power Fail / Time Test Not Received Events

Notify the nominated mobile(s)
Timer Test Not Received events are generated when the alarm system does not send its regular test signal to ADT’s monitoring centre.

Low Priority

Late to close / Schedule Violations

Notify the nominated mobiles(s)
Note: For customers receiving Supervised Monitoring services. A schedule of hours must be attached.

ADT Secure Home – Fundamental

*The $499 alarm installation offer is only available to persons entering into an ADT standard alarm monitoring contract for an initial term of 36 months. Total minimum cost over 36 months is $1,575.40 which is comprised of the upfront $499 installation charge for a wall panel, 2 x motion sensors, 2 x door contacts, 1 x smoke detector and a monthly monitoring cost of $29.90. The installed equipment is hired by ADT to the customer and remains the property of ADT. The customer must return the equipment to ADT on termination of the contract.
